Install your eSIM on a Google Pixel

Network & internet, SIMs, add an eSIM and scan the QR code from another screen. Do it on Wi-Fi before you fly.

Scan the QR code

Open the QR code on another screen (laptop, tablet, a friend's phone). It's on the install screen, in the "Your eSIM is ready" email and in My eSIMs.
On the Pixel: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → + Add SIM (or "Add eSIM").
Tap Download a SIM instead? if it asks, then scan the QR code.
Confirm, then name the line kimsim.

Look for Need help? or Enter it manually on the scan screen, and paste the activation code from My eSIMs. More options.

Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → kimsim → turn on Roaming.
On the same screen, turn on Mobile data. Turn mobile data off on your home SIM.

Stuck? Don't delete it. Restart your phone first.
